Is this supposed to be funny? Are we supposed to roll our eyes and tut in a “people do the darnest things!” kinda way? I just find this sad. This couple might have saved for years for this trip and they might have starved for the remainder of it after this event. Sad…just really really tragic!
Two women have been charged in connection with the murders of Ben and Catherine Mullany.
The newlyweds were killed after falling victim to a possible bungled robbery while on their honeymoon in Antigua.
Police on the island said two women, who have not been named, appeared before the chief magistrates in the capital St John’s charged with offences connected to the murders. This means that they were unlikely to have been the actual murderers but somehow where otherwise involved in the attacks.
Mr and Mrs Mullany, both 31, from Pontardawe, South Wales, were shot in the head in their cottage at the Cocos Hotel and Resort in the south-west of the Caribbean island on the last day of their holiday on July 27.
The couple were buried on Wednesday at the church in Wales where they wed last month.
