David Tennat is stepping down as Doctor Who. After 4 years in the role he is moving on which in a lot of ways is good because he is a great actor so I look forward to seeing him in other things.
People earmarked to play the Doctor next are
Fair enough, all are good actors but none of them are what I’d call my favourite candidates. Here are a few people I think would be good to watch as the new Doctor Who

Oh God, I love James Nesbit. Did you watch that Jekyll thing he was in? Fantastic.
I also like James McAvoy but he’s probably too movie star’ish now. Russell Brand would be mental as Dr Who (but you know it will never happen – even before all the recent stuff)

Last guy is very handsome but not really my type. I’m a right freak, I go for the weirdo looking ones (hence my Jimmy Nesbit obssession). I just like men with a quirky look. I really fancy Mr Bennett from ‘Heroes’ – now that IS weird. Also love men in make-up (not drag-queen make-up, I hasten to add). Captain Jack Sparrow, Russell Brand, the harp guy in that drink advert – don’t remember which one.
And I didn’t like the end of ‘Jekyll’ either. Stupid shock ending nonsense.
lol, no, i know what you mean. Really, looks don’t matter to me too much. It’s defo a personality thing, like funny, clever and gentlemanly etc. Saying that, I tend to mainly fancy tall, dark haired men with dark eyes in films etc. …. Russell Brand though, would you???
We need another older Doctor. I say Malcolm McDowell or Richard E. Grant would be great.
